This tour is a delightful collaboration between Mountain Wine Tours and Samford and Surrounds Art Trails & Open Studios.
Beginning the day in the village vibes of Dayboro, you will enjoy exploring the bespoke private studios and galleries. Stroll the main street and learn how this once dairy farming community has transformed into a weekend destination for those seeking quaint cafés, exceptional fresh food, antiques and of course, high quality art by local artists.
Feeling content after a delicious grazing platter morning tea, you will have the opportunity to showcase your inner creative with an exclusive ‘Maker’ Experience with a local Artist. Learn tricks of the trade, whilst creating your own ‘take home’ momentum, all whilst enjoying a glass of wine.
After you have stretched your creative limits, the tour continues via a scenic drive taking in views of Glasshouse Mountains, Moreton Bay and Brisbane City. You will disembark in the thriving village of Samford and give the opportunity to explore its vibrant shops, galleries and artist studios on foot.
It’s time for a late lunch! Samford is renowned for its high-quality cafes and restaurants, with a focus on local and fresh. Served with wine, you will enjoy a wholesome country meal, whilst enjoying good conversation with tour operators Karen and Ray.
Post lunch, there is time for a little more shopping, then its off to Camp Mountain, with conclusion of tour at Lance Boucaut Studio.
