Departing from Brisbane city, spend a day perusing impressive art, meeting the local creatives, whilst sipping on local wine, and sampling delicious food on the Mt Glorious & Samford - Art, Food + Wine Tour 2020.

This tour is a delightful collaboration between Mountain Wine Tours and Samford and Surrounds Art Trails & Open Studios.  

Begin the day with a picturesque drive from Brisbane City to the rainforest community of Mount Glorious. See the transformation from suburbia and bush, to lush rainforest, as the bus winds its way up the D’Aguilar Range. Situated in the heart of the D’Aguilar National Park, this small mountain community is a hub of creative talent. You will enjoy a VIP treatment while exploring the private studios and galleries of the local arts community. Along with spectacular views of Brisbane Valley and Moreton Bay.

Feeling content after a delicious grazing platter morning tea, you will have the opportunity to showcase your inner creative with an exclusive ‘Maker’ Experience with a local Artist. Learn tricks of the trade, whilst creating your own ‘take home’ momentum, all whilst enjoying a glass of wine.

After you have stretched your creative limits, the tour continues back down the mountain, to the quaint village vibes of Samford. You will disembark and give the opportunity to explore its vibrant shops,  galleries and artist studios of this village on foot. 

It’s time for a late lunch! Samford is renowned for its high-quality cafes and restaurants, with a focus on local and fresh. Served with wine, you will enjoy a wholesome country meal, whilst enjoying good conversation with tour operators Karen and Ray. 

Post lunch, there is time for a little more shopping, then it’s off to one more stop before wrapping up a fantastic day.
